Take your expertise to the next level with the Certified Operational Resilience Manager (CORM®) course. This Level 5 qualification is designed for today's resilience managers, operational leaders and risk professionals, providing you with the advanced knowledge and practical tools to design, implement and strengthen organisational resilience against any disruption.
This course moves beyond theory to provide a deep understanding of the frameworks, regulatory demands and core disciplines needed to build an organisation that can adapt, respond and thrive in the face of adversity.

Delivery & assessment
How it's delivered
The in-person course is delivered over 3 to 5 consecutive days, providing a focused and immersive learning experience. This is followed by a period of supported self-study, with guidance from a dedicated tutor to help embed learning in practice.
The distance learning option offers greater flexibility and is typically completed over 3 to 6 months. You will have up to 12 months to complete the programme if required, allowing you to balance study with professional commitments while maintaining the same high standard throughout.
How it's assessed
Assessment is by a written assignment of up to 3,000 words, completed after the course. Students receive ongoing support and guidance from tutors to assist with successful completion.
You will have up to 12 months from the end of the course to submit your completed assignment.
Recognition & certification


Receive the CORM® certificate from Oakwood Risk Training plus the Certificate in Operational Resilience at QLS Level 5, issued by the Skills and Education Group via the Quality Licence Scheme.
Eligible for ELCAS funding — a nationally recognised pathway for serving and former UK Armed Forces personnel into operational resilience roles across corporate, public sector and critical national infrastructure.
Part of the Emerging Risks Global Crisis Resilience Professional Pathway (CRRP). Graduates become members of the Crisis Resilience Professionals Guild — a global body of practitioners.
